Session Description

Virtual schools enable students to learn from any place and at their own pace, but without a synchronized curriculum or shared venue, students may feel disconnected from peers or alone in their studies. The move towards personalized learning need not necessitate a shift away from collaborative approaches, however. Here we discuss how Grockit's social learning platform accomplishes both, and we share lessons learned on how to reconnect networks of self-paced learners in virtual schools.
